Facade of the Comares, Alhambra, GranadaDoesn't the intrinsically carved walls and the reflection remind you of something ? I thought of another famous example of the Islamic architecture, the Taj Mahal.

A city with a sad past....

Raathaus, Hamburg....still retains its beauty, culture and above all, hope ! Thats how I see the magnificent Town hall (Raathaus) in Hamburg.

Looming large...at dusk

Silhouettes, like black and white pictures, convey powerful messages. This one reminded me of the Babri Masjid silhouette that was often shown in the TV when the monument was destroyed. To me, it is one of the most troubling things that ever took place in India and is seared into my brain.
